GeoAfrica: The main aim of the conference is to engage regional and international experts in the fields of development, manufacturing, and application of geosynthetics to raise awareness on technica! advances, opportunities and future prospects in the field. With the rapid growth and mega construction activities in Africa, and Egypt in particular, geosynthetics have great potential for serving market need.
The event shall be held at Cairo Marriott Hotel in Zamalek district along the river Nile. The conference will provide keynote lectures, technica! sessions, and panel discussions on diverse topics. Participants shall have the opportunity to exchange experiences, participate in joint activities and build bridges of knowledge. In addition, social activities will be organized including gala dinner and a site trip for one of the ongoing mega projects in Egypt.
