Business Controller
The Business Controller will support our Finance Teams and will be the linking point between different sources of information and the relevant business partners and stakeholders. You will work closely together with the C-level management.
Key accountabilities:
As a Business Controller, you’ll have a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and providing valuable insights to our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- You will gather, analyze, and transform data from various sources, breathing life into our reports and dashboards using Power BI, and further improve existing reports.
- Monthly, you’ll delve into our sales and margin data and overhead costs, using your analytical prowess to turn numbers into actionable insights.
- You will be the mastermind behind our monthly management result consolidation, ensuring precision and compliance with BE GAAP. This includes everything from intercompany matching & applying proper transfer pricing rules to goodwill calculations.
- You will analyze monthly the working capital position and prepare the monthly group (cash) forecast.
- You will lead the annual financial audit process, collaborating seamlessly with external auditors and local finance teams. Timely filing of all annual accounts and tax declarations will be your forte.
- You will instruct and support local finance teams and business partners in monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting using our consolidation tool and Power BI. This includes preparing training materials, conduct training, sharing best practices, … .
- You continuously assess and enhance the consolidation and reporting process, seeking opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.
- Advanced skills in Excel and affinity for business intelligence tools.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable integrity, keen attention to detail, and a passion for data accuracy.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Fluent communication in Dutch and English, with knowledge of French as a plus.
