The 4th Pan-European Corridor runs between Germany and Greece/Romania/Turkey and is part of the Pan-European corridors that improve the connectivity within Europe. Rehabilitation of these railway structures improves and ensures long term stable and safe rail traffic.
Tipptex BS nonwoven was placed in the construction as a separation and filtration layer between the subgrade and the subbase.

The Tatabánya Waste Treatment Centre was built within the framework of the „Danube-Vértes Köze Regional Waste Management Program”. This project included a new landfill construction with two cassettes.
Tipptex nonwoven geotextiles were part of a solution to create drainage, separation and protection layers.


Coastal Protection in France

The French electricity producer EDF constructed an LNG-terminal in Dunkirk. The LNG terminal in Dunkirk represents an additional capacity of 13 billion m³ of natural gas per year.
During this project, Jan De Nul cooperated with BontexGeo for the installation of a nonwoven filter underneath a layer of rock armour, that will protect the inner port from erosion.

The Liefkenshoek railway tunnel is a double railway with a lenght of 16.2 km in Antwerp. The railway forms a direct connection between the docks located to the east and west of the Scheldt.
Bontec NW 25 was used in the construction as a separation layer between the subsoil and the granular material.
