ECOPRO is a range of 100% biobased and industrially compostable nonwoven geotextiles.

In industrial composting installations ECOPRO biodegrades within three weeks.

For temporary cover applications, service life depends on the specific soil / climate conditions, but several months’ lifetime is expected in moderate climates before the product begins to slowly biodegrade.

ECOPRO is certified by TUV Austria for:
OK Biobased (*****) and OK Compost Industrial applications.

Not all geotextile applications require a long lasting solution; for short term applications the end-of-life step becomes relatively more important and the excess lifetime of a standard product does not contribute to the project’s sustainability.
